The role of employee empowerment in organizational resilience with regard to the mediation of organizational agility in Mashhad Municipality

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of employee empowerment on organizational resilience through the mediation of organizational agility. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of the research is Mashhad Municipality. Using Cochran's formula, the sample size was estimated to be 198 people. The questionnaire was distributed and completed using a simple random sampling method. 3 standard questionnaires including psychological empowerment questionnaire, organizational resilience questionnaire and organizational agility questionnaire were used to collect data. In the present research, in the reliability of questionnaires, Cronbach's alpha of all variables was more than 0.7, which indicated the appropriate reliability of the tool. The validity of the questionnaires was evaluated based on the opinions of the professors. In this research, SPSS and PLS software were used to analyze data and information and test hypotheses. The result of the statistical analysis shows that organizational agility mediates the effect of employee empowerment on the resilience of the municipality of Mashhad. Organizational empowerment has a positive and significant effect on the resilience of Mashhad Municipality employees. Empowerment has a positive and significant impact on the organizational agility of Mashhad Municipality. Agility has a positive and meaningful effect on the resilience of the employees of Mashhad Municipality.
