The historical city of Kashan has a high potential for tourism development due to its cultural, historical, and natural attractions. Evaluation and analysis of suitable locations for tourism infrastructure development plays a fundamental role in the optimal utilization of resources and creating sustainable development. In this study, using the Fuzzy AHP method, suitable locations for tourism infrastructure development in the city of Kashan have been identified and prioritized. This method, by combining expert opinions and using spatial and socio-economic criteria, provides accurate and practical results that can be a basis for urban planning and macro-decision making in the field of tourism. The main criteria included existing infrastructure, environmental capacity, accessibility, and historical attraction, which were analyzed for four key sites in Kashan, namely Tepe Silk, Borujerdi House, Kashan Traditional Bazaar, and Bagh Fin. Based on the results, Tepe Silk was introduced as the best option for development with a weight of 0.33, and Borujerdi House was ranked second with a weight of 0.28. These sites are prioritized due to their high historical and cultural potential. Kashan Traditional Bazaar and Bagh Fin are also ranked next with weights of 0.21 and 0.19, respectively. The findings show that the use of multi-criteria models such as fuzzy AHP in tourism planning is an efficient tool for analyzing priorities and allocating resources effectively and sustainably.
