Evaluation of creative regeneration based on local economy in the historical area of Blue Mosque in Tabriz city

The main focus of this research is Creative economic development. In recent years, historical structures have faced many challenges in such a way that they have not been able to create a suitable economic attraction for residents.
The purpose of this research is to create and optimally pay attention to economic issues in urban management and design along with important matters such as current and anticipated needs in its final vision.
So that by exploiting the social, economic and cultural capabilities of the residents, neighborhoods in historical contexts, according to the existing capacity in them, new economic components based on values and capacities can be provided.
This is a qualitative research that has been done with descriptive method.
The reviewed data is based on the studies of previous documents in internal and external research, field observations, and in addition to that, the analysis technique (SWOT) has been used to check the new data obtained and measure its correctness and the results obtained have been analyzed with the creative economic development approach.
These results were presented as solutions, which include city branding, relation between tourism and industry, creating economic values, investment, creating or changing urban land-use, considering dynamicity of Economic and creating a cultural-based economy.
And finally, appropriate strategies have been presented in the area surrounding the Blue Mosque of Tabriz, an area that has faced many urban interventions in the past three decades, and assessments show that it does not currently have a good economic situation.
