Abstract
Population growth and changing consumption patterns have led to increasing waste generation and environmental pollution. This issue is especially important in Kish Island, due to the special geographical features and tourism and the burial of 60% of ordinary waste, and has faced the executive management of waste with a serious challenge. In this regard, in this study, with the aim of presenting an appropriate scenario for waste disposal, using the dynamic system model method, all variables affecting waste management have been identified and causal relationships between them have been modeled. Then, using the opinions of experts, experts and managers, 6 scenarios for principled waste management, taking into account the real conditions and with a 10-year horizon on the model were implemented and simulated and compared using Wensim software. Based on the model predictions, integrated scenario: creation of material recovery facilities, digestion, rejection incinerator, dry waste separation unit, separation from source and bulk waste and minimal landfill as a superior scenario with the approach of maximum waste landfill and the possibility of using the current landfill It was introduced until 1413. |
