The role of vegetation in the quality of life of citizens (Case study: Gorgan)

Evaluate vegetation is the most fundamental problems in cities for future planning and urban management is done on project implementation. The aim of this study was to analyze the role of urban green space to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the city of Gorgan. Methodology in two phase’s field observation method is descriptive-analytic. And went on to collect the data required by the questionnaire have been used. The study population is all citizens of Gorgan Cochrane sampling using a sample size of 328 were determined. To enhance the accuracy of the sample rose to 330 people. Furthermore in order to indicate the level of access and distribution of urban green spaces and ranking of the factors studied TOPSIS model was used. As well as to generate maps to assess the level and quality of life of citizens of the relationship between vegetation and geographic information systems (GIS), is used. Continue to assess the relationship between effective factors on quality of life and vegetation help of SPSS statistical test was taken. The results indicate that the individual elements in the access to and quality of life there is significant relationship vegetation. It was found that in all urban areas with a level of enjoyment and desirability of Gorgan in terms of access to and quality of life are vegetation. At the end of the map to show the level of enjoyment and utility of the city of Gorgan is drawn. |
