شهری اصطلاحی است که برای اندازه‌گیری توانایی یک شهر برای بهبود از یک مخاطره به کار می‌رود. تاب‌آوری شهری از ابعاد مختلف قابل بررسی می‌باشد. در این میان توجه به ساختار فضایی شهر دارای اهمیت بسزایی است. چرا که در تعریف شهر باید علاوه بر کالبد شهر، روابط افراد جامعه را هم موردتوجه قرار داد؛ بنابراین در زمان بحران ناشی از مخاطره طبیعی نیز مسأله تاب‌آوری ساختار شهر بسیار مهم می‌باشد. مقاله حاضر ضمن بیان دسترسی‌های امدادی، پناهگاه‌های شهری برای اسکان موقت، تراکم ساختمانی، فضای باز شهری و دانه‌بندی شهری در راستای رویکرد تاب‌آوری ساختاری توسعه فضایی کلان‌شهر شیراز باید مدنظر قرار Urban resilience can be studied from different dimensions. In the meantime, paying attention to the spatial structure of the city is very important.
