Investigating the impact of fine dust on migration (case study: Ahvaz city)

Today, climate issues have become one of the important factors in people's desire to migrate. Among the factors that create the tendency of climate migration in people is fine dust, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of fine dust phenomenon on migration from Ahvaz city, research in terms of applied nature and in terms of descriptive-analytical method and using questionnaire tool. The study of people's desire to migrate due to fine dust has been investigated, the statistical population is the residents of Ahvaz city, using Cochran's formula, 384 questionnaires were prepared and distributed among the citizens, data analysis, the questionnaire was conducted in two parts, descriptive statistics and statistical test, which in the section Descriptive statistics were used to examine the percentage and frequency of individual characteristics of the respondents and to answer the questions, and using the chi-square test, the relationship between the questionnaire variables (gender, education, length of residence, Ahwazi origin and marriage) with the main questions of the questionnaire was examined. The results show that dust is a geographical phenomenon and the originality variable and the question of migration due to dust from Ahvaz and the residence duration variable have a very strong significant relationship and according to the P-value value questions, there is a strong dependence on these two variables, and other variables were also investigated. Considering that most of the respondents were against migrating from Ahvaz due to dust, it can be said that dust does not have much effect on migrating from Ahvaz.
