Conceptual investigation of discovering the relation between the extern attribute and the latent meaning in the Holy Shrine of IMAM REZA (peace be upon him)

Permanent memorials in fields of culture, religion and history of nations depend on the social background and depth of musing in every tribe. These precious remnants are linked to wide comprehension, exalted philosophy, ordinary ceremonies of the time, religious and national morality and culture, and the consistent output is ornamented by artifice and technique. Shrine, as a masterpiece among art, artifice, industry and combination of industrial arts, is used to preserve and protect the chaste mausoleums of the descendants of Prophet MUHAMMED (peace be upon him), and holds an ancient past. Meanwhile, the Holy mausoleum of IMAM REZA(p. b. u. h.) and his Shrine have attracted great attention since a long time ago, especially during the Safavieh Reign, and many Persian and Shia artists have performed crafts and presented practical sincere in the Holy mausoleum. The article is codified in analysis and descriptive manner with the purpose of imparting the context and theosophy that has been transferred orally from the artists of Islamic arts, designers, illustrators, traditional pattern designers and shrine manufacturers to the author. Due to researches on the Razavi Shrine, also known as the Golden and Silver Shrine, which is done by the author, no script has been found which may contain conceptual studies of structure and tropical patterns so far. The general results are presented by the usage of library sources, concepts included in the Holy Qur`an, the history and behavior of Imams and the Hadith quoted by them, extracted theosophy from the Persian and Shia literature and achievements reached by investigators of Islamic arts, and scrutiny in the whole Golden and Silver Shrine including the details. |
